• We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible (having no error) written word of God.

  • We believe that there is One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism; One God and Father of all.

  • We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture (Jesus Christ's Returning) of the Church of God, which is in
    Christ Jesus at His return.

  • We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance (a change of heart), faith in the
precious blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ according to Acts 2:
    38.

  • We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to all believers who sincerely seek it,
and is a requisite precursor to our regeneration.

  • We believe that regeneration (renewal) by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

  • We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross (act of repurchasing our freedom) provides healing for
the human body in answer to believing prayer.

  • We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

  • W e believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost (Christlike inner spirit), by whose indwelling the Christian
is enabled, or has the authority, to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
THE FLORIDA STATE COUNCIL STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
We are founded upon the belief in God, who is the Supreme Ruler of the universe. We believe that He robed Himself in flesh, and suffered
and died on the cross for the sins of mankind. After three days, He arose from the grave, thereby providing mankind the opportunity to be
saved from eternal condemnation by being born again.

Jesus told  Nicodemus in
St. John 3:5 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot
enter into the kingdom of God
.

Therefore we believe a person must be born again in order to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven! This belief was followed by the early New
Testament Church, as evidenced by
Acts 2:38 (KJV): Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost
.

We are born of the water when the blood is applied through baptism in Jesus Name. We are born of the spirit upon receiving the Holy Ghost,
evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.

After the saint is born again, God requires that we live Godly, continue in the Apostles' Doctrine, and continue in our church fellowship.
Acts 2:42 (KJV) And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Our Creed, Discipline, Rules of Order and Doctrine:

Scriptural Inerrancy
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God as taught and revealed by the Holy Ghost (John 14:26; 1Corinthians 2:9-13).
"
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that
the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works
." - 2nd Timothy 3:16-17

Record of Membership
The names of members are kept on record in Heaven (Luke 10:20). For it is written, "The Lord shall count, when He writeth up the
people, that this man was born there
" (Psalms 87:6). All must be "born of water and Spirit" in this dispensation, if they desire their names
to be written in Heaven (
Hebrews 12:22-23). However, for the matter of legal record we recommend that the name of each individual who
is recognized as being subject to the rule of a local organization should be kept in the record of such congregation.

God's Standard of Salvation
We earnestly contend for God's standard of Salvation. In the Word of God, we can find nothing short of a Holy, Spirit-filled life with signs
following as on the day of Pentecost (
Mark 16:16-17; Acts 2:4, 8:14-17, 9:17-18, 10:44-48, 19:1-6; Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 12:
14; Matthew 5:48; 1 Peter 1:15-16
).

Repentance and Remission of Sins
The only grounds upon which God will accept a sinner is repentance from the heart for the sins that he has committed. A broken and a
contrite heart, He will not despise (
Psalms 51:17). John preached repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name, beginning at
Jerusalem (Luke 24:47). Peter fulfilled this command on the Day of Pentecost (
Acts 2:38).

The Godhead
We fully believe in the mystery of the Godhead. We believe that Jesus was both human and divine, and further, that the Godhead be
understood to mean all of the fullness of God (
Colossians 1:19, 2:9). We believe that Jesus was Mary's son and Mary's God, Creator and
creature, God manifest in the flesh; that the flesh of Jesus was the same as ours with the exception that it had no sin; that Jesus was the
Eternal Father made visible, apart from whom there is no God. We believe that at the final consummation of all things there will be only one
God, and that will be our Lord Jesus Christ.

Divine Healing
The Lord is our Healer (Exodus 15:26; Psalms 30:2-3). The Lord made our bodies. Should it be thought a thing incredible that He can
heal us? With His stripes we are healed (
Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:14-17; John 14:12; Mark 16:18; James 4:14).

The Coming of Christ
That Jesus is coming to earth in person is a doctrine clearly set forth in apostolic times. Jesus taught it, the Apostles preached it, and the
saints accepted it (
Matthew 24:1; Acts 1:11, 3:19-21; 1 Corinthians 1:7-8, 11:26; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-
17; Titus 2:13-14
).

Offering
The old method of begging, rallying, giving socials, shows and concerts to carry on God's word is not God's plan. We believe that if the people
of God would obey His word there would be plenty on hand to carry on His work without scheming and grafting. "Tithing, and freewill
offering" is God's Plan (
Genesis 15:20, 28:22; Malachi 3:8-12; Exodus 25:2, 35:5, 21, and 29).

Translation of the Saints
We believe that the time draweth near for the coming of the Lord to make a change in the present order of things, and at that time all the
righteous dead shall rise from the graves, and "we that are alive" and living righteous before God shall be translated or "caught up to meet
the Lord in the air" ([[
Matthew 24:36]]; Luke 17:20 and 37; 1 Corinthians 15:51 and 54; Philippians 3:20-21; 1
Thessalonians 4:13 and 17
).

The Millennium
Moreover we believe that the distress upon the world is the "beginning of sorrows" and will become more intense until there "shall he a time
of trouble such as there never was since there was a nation even to that time,' (Matthew 24:3-8; Daniel 12:1), and that period of tribulation
will be followed by the dawn of a better day on earth, and that for one thousand years there shall be "peace on earth, good will toward men"
(
Revelation 20:1-5; Isaiah 65:17-25; Matthew 5:5; Daniel 7:27; Micah 4:1-2; Habakkuk 2:14).

Final Judgement
When the thousand years are finished there shall be a resurrection of the dead, who shall be summoned before the Great White Throne for
their final judgement.  All those whose names are not found written in the Book of Life shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, burning with
brimstone, which God hath prepared for the devil and his angels, Satan being cast in first (
Revelation 20:7-15; Matthew 24:41-46;
Revelation 21:8
).

Wholly Sanctified Life
We believe that in order to escape the judgement of God and to have the hope of enjoying the glory of life eternal, one must be thoroughly
saved from his sins, wholly sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. And that a wholly sanctified life is the only true standard of Christian life
(
Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-17).
